The School of St. Mary is a Roman Catholic parish school. It has two campuses, both in Lake Forest, Illinois, in the Archdiocese of Chicago. As of 2007[update], it has over 600 students.[1]
The School of St. Mary was founded in 1917 by the Church of St. Mary in Lake Forest, Illinois.[2] The pastor at the time was Father Francis J. Barry. The school began with one hundred twenty-five students in a small building, which is sill standing and holding classes. An addition was built in 1958.[2]
